In order to provide energy and/or capacity in New England, new resources need to interconnect to the administered transmission system. Please note that distribution facilities should check with their local transmission owner to see if they are subject to the ISO Interconnection Process. A new resource may be a supply-side generator or an elective transmission upgrade (ETU) as defined in Schedules 22, 23, and 25 of the Open Access Transmission Tariff.
The interconnection process begins as developers are evaluating where they would like to build a new resource or if they would like to modify an existing resource. Once a resource has a signed interconnection agreement, and becomes commercial, it may participant in all the New England Markets. Customers who participate in the ISO-administered markets must register their assets with 黑料网 for settlement and other market-related purposes.
